Well, my uncle also did face this manufactured home refinancing before, and he said this nearly driving him crazy. My uncle living in a modern "triple wide" mobile home and he lived in a same old place for over 15 years. Everything was much fined in the last 15 years, until this mid January, where there was a big flood (According to my uncle, this flood has to be the most devastated in the local history…) Most of the local houses have been flood and muddling, all of the electrical appliances also damaged in this flood, including my uncle mobile house as well.
After the flood, my uncle was really desperate, because he needs to repair the mobile house and buy all of the new electrical appliances. So, he just goes to the local bank to apply for the mobile home loan, he thinks the loan will be really easy to be approved.
But, the local bank told my uncle, that he needs to mortgage his mobile home to the bank, if he wants to apply for the mobile home loan. The main reason is my uncle didn’t have any guarantor for the home mobile loan, and then he needs to apply for mobile home mortgage first instead of the mobile home!
My uncle was pissed off about the mortgage, and then he leaves and searches his own mobile home loan on internet. The good thing is, he did found a very good mobile home loan and he managed to do all of the renovation and bought some new electrical appliances.
Sometime, we will have to make some tough choices in our daily life, but you need to remember, that no matter what choice you made, you shouldn’t be regret for it…
