Have a Brand New Life in Houston!

Do you have any favorite city or town that you always want to go or live in? Well, honestly, I do have several cities that I would like to spend rest of my life when I get older and they are:

  1. Houston
  2. Seattle
  3. Minneapolis
  4. Los Angeles
  5. Pittsburg

In the above cities, I loved Houston the most! Do you know that Houston is one of the four largest cities in the United States of America and it’s the largest city in the state of Texas? Houston is the main heart and the economic center of the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown metropolitan area with over 6 million of population.

For your information, Houston was first founded on August 30, 1836 by Allen’s brothers, Augustus Chapman Allen and John Kirby Allen on a flatland near the banks of Buffalo Bayou. The Port of Houston is number one in the United States in international waterborne tonnage handled.

Houston is an international city many academic institutions surround it. They are over 90 languages are spoken in this city and it has the youngest populations in the United States nation.

Talking about the tourism and recreation in Houston, there are many interesting places that waiting for you to discover. Those famous tourism revenues are:

Space Center Houston – It’s the official visitors’ center of NASA’s Lyndon B.Johnson Space Center. You can find the magnificent exhibits, such as moon rocks and shuttle simulator here!

The Theater District

Brown Convention Center – It’s one of the United States’ largest Performing Arts center.

Beside that, there are also many annual events, which it’s take place all around the Houston. Those events are Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Houston Pride Parade, Houston Creek Festival, Art Car Parade, the Houston International Festival etc.
