Guys, I would like to ask you a question here and hope you will answer it honestly. How long you haven't gone for a trip here? 6 months, a year or more than it?
According to the latest research, the scientists discovered shocking news that those people that didn't even scheduled for a single trip more than 2 years, but always busy with their daily workload would have 200% of risk being diagnosed as the depression or bipolar disorder than those that go for vacation occasionally!
Yep, when I first heard about this news, I'm somewhat flabbergasted too, as I'm recently didn't have a spare time for the vacation.
Hmm..., talking about vacation, I used to remember that I had a sweet Amsterdam Holidays 10 month ago and I've spent my Christmas with my family at Mary home, where she is one of my friends in Netherlands.
By the way, did anyone know the origin of Amsterdam? Well, according to my friend, Mary who a native Amsterdam citizen said that the name is derived from Amstel dam, where it is the combination of a 'dam' and the river 'Amstel'. Believed it or not, when Amsterdam first settled in year 1300, it's still a small fishing village with total population no over than 1,000 people. Now, this gorgeous city had a population of about 748,000!
When we're first arrived at Schiphol airport, we're already amazed by the architecture and designation of this airport. Mary had already waiting for our arrival. Without wasting anymore time, we jumped into Mary's SUV and heading to her house. On the way back to her house, she was telling us that Schiphol airport is one of the busiest facilities in the world and the airport is always crowded with passengers from all around the world. Meanwhile, I didn't forget to tease her that we're so lucky to see her and didn't get lost in the airport lol
After about 30 minutes of ride, we're finally arrived at Mary home and her house was situated near the Asmtel River. The house in Amsterdam was quite big and large, where I didn't even expect at all! Honestly, my family and I were decided to rent a room from 4 Star Hotels in Amsterdam in the beginning, but Mary had persuaded us to stay at her home and celebrate Christmas with her family. As a result, we all were staying in Mary's house for the whole week..
.
In the upcoming seven days, we have been rented a car from Europcar, which it's one of the most famous Amsterdam Car Rental in the local car rental companies! Mary has become our tour guider and driven us to the local tourist attractions and sights.
Ok, guys. Let's hold your breath, as I will begin to list out those interesting places that we've visited in Amsterdam, which as:
