Hey guys! If you have a very limited budget, but you still want your employees to be trained well, then you should consider these following suggestions:

You can form a training “co-op”! Well, “co-op” is meaning “co-operative education” where it can be used to integrate academic studies with related work experience. Go and teaming up with other companies to offer courses to your employees with help you cut off the training cost!

Take advantage of training that being offered by the manufacturers of equipment that you buy.

Ask your employees if they can take part in training programs that major customers have for their own employees.

As an employer, you should encourage your employees to participate in educational opportunities.

You can send an employee for training and let him/her sharing what he/she learnt during the training courses with other staffs!

Hi Wilhb - This is a great suggestion. Training can be so expensive. I looked at in-house training but it was £1000 plus a day for only 3 or 4 employees.

As you say, if you can split the cost with other companies, it would definitely make it more affordable.
