You think that you’ve already understand about the basic knowledge about how to handle with the customers through telephone? Before that, please have a quick peek on these following tips and see if you’ve followed all the rules accordingly!
Rule No.1
Never ever let the telephone ring more than twice! This is the basic rule, where the quicker you pick up the phone call the better.
Rule No.2
Always greet your caller in a warm and professional manner (no matter how bad or depressed the condition is during the time you pick up the call)!
Rule No.3
Remember to jot down everything during the customer’s call, as most of the customers don’t want to be bothered with second call!
Rule No.4
If you’re running out of time (due to some emergency case), you can explain the situation to the customer in a polite manner. By the way, remember to get his/her contact information and promise to call the customer back afterward!
Rule No.5
Take every customer suggestion patiently and always follow up with customer from time to time!
